Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cartridge in which silicone modified polymer can be used in place of mica in a dielectric layer by arranging a first electrode having no hole and a second electrode opening at the intersection with the first electrode along one side of a dielectric substrate and separating both electrodes by the dielectric layer. SOLUTION: A print drum 22 turnable about the axis 24 comprises a conductive core 26 having a dielectric face 28 receiving an image from a charge migration cartridge 30. The cartridge 30 is held at a specified position by a cartridge fixing body 34 and comprises a first electrode extending in the first direction along one side of a dielectric substrate, a second electrode opening at the intersection with the first electrode and extending in the second direction, and a dielectric layer separating both electrodes. The cartridge 30 forms a latent image on the dielectric face 28 as the drum 22 turns and the image is processed with toner being fed from a hopper 36 by a feeder mechanism 38 before being transferred onto a sheet 44. |
