Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute a charging processing as against a printing processing on a network. SOLUTION: A print client 102 transmits a printing request file and a slip file 104 to a charging server 100. The charging server 100 transmits a printing permission file 110 where the permitted quantity of resources such as the number of sheets of available printing paper is described to the printing client 102. The charging server generates charging information based on the quantity of the resources and stores it in a charging information file 108. The printing client 102 transmits the printing permission file 110 to a printer device 112 in advance of the slip file. The printer device 112 executes printing processing only when the printing permission file 110 is transmitted in advance of the slip file 104. Charging information undergoes centralized management and also printing is efficiently controlled.
