Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an energy efficiency and permit humidifying under the condition of vapor, by a method wherein a hydrophobic porous tube is suspended reciprocally between two pieces of supporting pillars and a feed water tank is connected to one end of the hydrophobic porous tube, while a service tank is connected to the other end of the same tube. SOLUTION: A hydrophobic porous tube made of polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, polytetrafluoroethylene or the like is provided with the thickness of 1-10000 μm, the porosity of 5-95% and the diameter of hole of within 0,01-15 μm, and suspended between tow pieces of parallel supporting pillars 1, 2 so as to be wound around them. One end of the hydrophobic porous tube 3 is connected to a feed water tank 6 while the other end of the same is connected to a service tank 7. According to this method, inorganic substance and organic substance will not remain in the hydrophobic porous tube, and the deterioration of a moisture transmitting film can be prevented whereby an energy efficiency can be improved and humidifying under the condition of vapor can be effected.
