Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device for canned goods by a high-frequency induction heating method wherein even if a failure occurs in an induction heating coil or in an electric system thereof, variations of large magnitude in heating temperatures can be avoided and failures can be easily found out and a repair can be easily performed without exerting an influence on the operation of a manufacturing line. SOLUTION: In the heating device 1 wherein each can 2 of canned goods being transferred continuously in an upright state is heated by a high-frequency induction heating means disposed along a transfer path 3, there are provided a means 5 to feed each of the cans 2 at regular intervals, a means 6 to transfer each can 2 at a predetermined speed, and a rotational power imparting means 7 to turn each can 2. And a plurality of induction heating coils 4 are disposed in series along at least one of the sides of the path 3, and an electric system leading from a power switch to an induction heating coil is provided for each of the induction heating coils disposed in series. |
