Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously carry out highly accurate forming work and high quality mirror surface finish machining with high efficiency. SOLUTION: A voltage is applied between the conductive grinding wheel 1 and an electrode for shaping 4, the electrode for shaping 4 is brought into contact with the conductive grinding wheel 1 and a spark is generated at the contact point, in order to shape the conductive grinding wheel 1. At the same time, a voltage is applied between the conductive grinding wheel 1 and an electrode for resetting 2 facing it without being brought into contact with it, and conductive grinding liquid is supplied between them, in order to reset the grinding wheel by applying electrolytic dressing to the conductive grinding wheel 1.
