Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform the user of the arrival of an incoming call without troubling surrounding persons in the case that a predicted incoming call arrives. SOLUTION: In the case that a speech of the user using a portable terminal 1 is interrupted due to movement of the user to the outside of a zone of a base station or due to a deteriorated radio wave state and the arrival of an incoming call is predicted from the speech opposite party due to the interrupted speech, a CPU 17 starts a timer 17A to which a prescribed time is set. When the incoming call reaches within a prescribed time, the incoming call tone by a buzzer 21 is not conducted. The incoming call display of an incoming call lamp 20A and an output of a voice message of 'arrival of an incoming call' through the drive of a voice synthesis section 23 from a receiver 24 inform the user of the arrival of the incoming call.
