Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-excited oscillation power supply wherein its efficiency is prevented from decreasing by the increase of its oscillation frequency with such a small load as in stand-by, even when its output power is changed by its load over a relatively wide renge. SOLUTION: In a feedback winding NB, there is provided and oscillation- frequency control circuit including a capacitor C41 charged by the electromotive force of the feedback winding NB. When a phototransistor PT2 is brought into OFF-state by an external remote signal, the oscillation-frequency control circuit controls a control transistor Q3 to prolong the OFF-time of the self-excited oscillation period of a switching transistor Q1. Thereby, reducing the switching frequency of the switching transistor Q1 of a switching power supply in stand-by, its power loss can be reduced in stand-by, and operating it by the external remote signal as an original RCC mode switching power supply unit in its stationary state, its voltage can be generated responding to a load over a wide range. |
