Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an effective pushing-up work and to facilitate the insertion of a center pillar in a tunnel having a deformed cross section by installing a single expansion mechanism enabling a segment push-up device to apply a pushing force concurrently to upper and lower segments oppositely positioned at the immediate lateral side of a center pillar inserting position. SOLUTION: The expansion mechanism part 3 of a segment push-up device is structured so that two upper and lower slide rods 8 and 9 slidably laid along the internal surface of a cylindrical guide tube 7 are jointed to each other via a hydraulic cylinder 10 laid at the center. When the hydraulic cylinder 10 of the expansion mechanism part 3 expands, the slide rods 8 and 9 slide outward along the guide tube 7, and a gripper plate 11 at the forward end of each of the slide rods 8 and 9 comes in contact with the internal surface of each of upper and lower segments 13 and 13. A pressing force is thereby applied to each of the upper and lower segments 13 and 13 concurrently for the expansion thereof by an amount of clearance necessary for the insertion of a center pillar 28. In this case, the single expansion mechanism part 3 is used for direct expansion and force transmission efficiency is improved, thereby properly pushing and expanding the insertion part of the center pillar 28. |
