Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve execution by constructing a ceiling part and a floor part by a shield tunnel with an underground wall as a side wall, and excavating the inside of an outer shell connecting these. SOLUTION: In the case where a large cross section tunnel is constructed, a substantially rectangular small-cross section shield tunnel 2 between underground walls 1 constructed in parallel with the underground is constructed in upper and lower two stages. At this time, the upper side tunnel 2 is provided at a position corresponding to the ceiling part of the large cross section tunnel, and the lower side tunnel 2 is provided at a position corresponding to the floor part thereof. Next, after a connection part is constructed between the tunnels 2 and between the underground wall 1 and the tunnel 2, concrete is placed in a space between the inner space of the tunnel 2 and the connection part, the outer shell of the large cross section tunnel is formed, and the inside surrounded by the outer shell is excavated. As a result, a ground occupied period can be restricted in a short time at the time of underground wall construction, influence for a circumferential environment as large-scaled ground improvement can be reduced, the cost of the side wall can be reduced, a construction period can be shortened and precision can be improved.
