PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate insertion of a tenon pipe into a mortice by constituting the jig with a connection leg to be inserted into the end edge of the tenon pipe and a collar-shaped head provided with a slope face connected to one end edge of the leg and widened to the leg side at the outer periphery and provided with nearly the same outer diameter with the tenon pipe at the terminal end. SOLUTION: This jig 1 for inserting a tenon pipe P is composed of a connection leg 2 to be interted in the end edge of the tenon pipe P and a collar-shaped head 3 provided with a slope face 3a connected to one end edge 2a of the leg 2 and widened to the leg 2 side at the outer periphery. The outside diameter of the connection leg 2 is made to be the nearly same with the inside diameter of the tenon pipe P, and the diameter of the terminal end of the collar-shaped head 3 is made to be the nearly same with the outside diameter of the tenon pipe P, and the inclination of the slope face 3a is made as much as 30 deg.-80 deg. for instance. The tenon pipe P that the jig 1 for inserting a tenon pipe is fitted in one end edge, is inserted in the mortice in one side axial member and the other end edge of the tenon pipe P is inserted in the mortice of the other axial member in the same way to connect the axial members to each other. In this way, the tenon pipe P can be extremely easily inserted into the mortice.
