Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic speech connector applicable to various telephone service networks such as public line-leased line-public line connection telephone network, Internet telephone network and callback telephone network. SOLUTION: A telephone adapter 103 is provided between an analog telephone set 108 and a line network 101. The telephone adaptor 103 stores a parameter corresponding to various communication networks and the user makes a telephone call through the least cost routing by means of abbreviation dialing. Each telephone adapter 103 is centrally managed by a management center 104. Furthermore, the telephone adapter 103 can receive various services meeting social needs from a service center 105.
