Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular metallic body induction heater which can heat an annular metallic body up to a set temperature uniformly and can be inserted into a shaft easily without causing a failure at a maintenance field. SOLUTION: This annular metallic body induction heater is constituted in such a way that a heating plate 9 is arranged on an upper side of a ceramic plate 8 put above a heating coil 1 of an induction heater, a temperature detection element 11 is embedded from a lower face at a position corresponding to the center of the heating coil 1 of the heating plate 9, a fixing metal fitting 12 which is constituted by a thin plate and has an expandable structure is fixed to an end part of the heating plate 9, an annular metallic body 13 is put on a top face of the heating plate 9, and a control part 2 controls an output to the heating coil 1 so that a temperature of the heating plate 9 becomes a set temperature by receiving an output of the temperature detection element 11 to heat the annular metallic body 13 up to a predetermined temperature due to transfer heat and radiation heat from the heating plate 9.
