Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a filter excellent in uniformity and reliability with good productivity by injecting an ink containing a carboxylic acid compd. as a pigment dispersant and a compd. having oxazoline groups and then heating to cause the reaction of these compds. SOLUTION: This ink contains a pigment and a carboxylic acid compd. as a pigment dispersant with addition of a monomer or oligomer having oxazoline groups as a binder component. After the ink is injected on a substrate, the ink is heated to react the carboxylic acid compd. with the compd. having oxazoline groups. As for the carboxylic compd., for example, styrene, styrene derivs., vinylnaphthalene coupled material can be used. The pigment dispersant is preferably incorporated by 5 to 100 wt.% to the pigment. As for the compd. having oxazoline groups, compds. having substituents such as satd. or unsatd. alkyl groups on oxazoline can be used. The add amt. is preferably 5 to 100 wt.% to the pigment.
