Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust bearing assembly which is simple in structure and easy to remove and a method for removing the same. SOLUTION: A spherical roller bearing 4 has a taper bore face and is assembled on a drawing sleeve 5, and a spacer sleeve 8 has an internally threaded part and is meshed with the externally threaded part of the drawing sleeve 5. A tubular member 12 is placed on a shaft body 1 and presses a shaft washer 6b against the rear end face of the spacer sleeve 8 on the side separated from the spherical roller bearing. The tubular member 12 is held in a normal position by a locknut 13 meshed with the threaded part of the shaft body 1. |
