Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cryogenic energy-storing material of a sodium chloride aqueous solution base, having excellent preventing effect on supercooling and inhibitory effect on phase separation. SOLUTION: This cryogenic energy-storing material of a sodium chloride aqueous solution base uses sodium sulfate as an agent for preventing supercooling and an isobutylene-maleic acid-based resin having a specific particle diameter as an agent for preventing phase separation. The concentration of sodium chloride is 5-30 wt.%, the content of sodium sulfate is 0.005-0.16 mol based on 1 mol of sodium chloride, the content of the isobutylene-maleic acid resin particles having 40-150 μm average particle diameter is 3-15 pts.wt. based on 100 wt.% of the sodium chloride aqueous solution.
