Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling accident of a fuel rack on the way of transportation and transfer during exchanging a fuel rack for a used fuel storage pool in nuclear power related facilities. SOLUTION: A bridge crane 20 for exchanging a fuel rack includes a main carriage 30 provided across a used fuel pool 1 to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the pool 1, a suspended carriage 40 provided on a main beam structure 31 of the main carriage 30 to be movable in the cross direction of the pool 1, and a rack block support 35 provided at the lower part of the main beam structure 31 to be movable in a horizontal direction, a storage space for a fuel rack 3 being formed between the hanging carriage 40 and the rack block support 35.
