Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container which ensures enough adhesiveness even when a thermoplastic resin is extruded at low temp. to suppress generation of small molecule volatile ingredients caused by oxidative decomposition of the thermoplastic resin, and is excellent in odor and taste and has small oxygen permeability. SOLUTION: The paper container is obtd. by laminating at least one resin layer contg. a layer consisting of a polyamide resin obtd. of a diamine contg. at least 70 mole % m-xylylene-diamine and a dicarboxylic acid contg. at least 70 mole % 6-12C α,ω-aliph. dicarboxylic acid on a face of a base paper with a surface roughness Ra of 1.0-3.0 μm.
