Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a heat-sublimation ink onto a recording paper other than an exclusive paper for heat-sublimation transfer recording, such as a postcard and a normal paper, and perform a favorable heatsublimation transfer recording by alternately forming an undercoating treatment ink layer and a finishing treatment resin on a film base material in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: An undercoating treatment ink layer 16a is an ink layer to perform an undercoating treatment for a recording paper before a heat-sublimation transfer recording is performed so that a heatsublimation ink can be transferred onto a general recording paper. In the meantime, a finishing treatment resin layer 16b is a resin layer to perform a finishing treatment from the top of a recorded image after recording in order to improve the weather resistance or the gloss of the recorded image which has been heat-sublimation-transfer-recorded on the recording paper. Then, an undercoating-finishing treatment ribbon cassette 5A containing an ink ribbon 16A for which the undercoating treatment ink layer 16a and the finishing treatment resin layer 16b are alternately applied, inside, and an ink ribbon on which a heatsublimation ink is applied, are arranged in a row in the moving direction of a carriage 4.
