Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a bar code reader when the temperature of the bar code reader exceeds the specified value. SOLUTION: A container recovery device is provided with a door locking means 4 for locking a charging port door provided at a container charging port, at the time of closing it, a bar code reader 6 for reading a bar code put on a container, a temperature sensor S for detecting the temperature of a bar code reader body, and a control means 11 for stopping the bar code reader when the temperature of the bar code reader body exceeds first temperature and locking the charging port door at the time of closing it while starting the bar code reader when the temperature of the bar code reader body is lower than second temperature and releasing the lock of the charging port door.
