Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily ventilate inside air in a longitudinal strop clearance along the inside of a noise insulating projected strap by providing the noise insulating projected strop on a facing wall at a position to crass with a virtual line extending in the diametrical direction of a fly-wheel in a device provided with the clearance between a fly-wheel end surface and its facing wall. SOLUTION: A sound arrester is constituted by forming a facing clearance 5 between an end surface 3 of a fly-wheel 2 fixed on a crankshaft and its facing wall (housing end wall of a fly-wheel housing) 4 and projectively providing a noise insulating projected strop 6 toward the fly-wheel end surface 3 from this facing wall 4. The noise insulating projected strap 6 making its part between a projected end surface 7 and the fly-wheel end surface 3 as a throttling clearance 8 is arranged at a position to cross with a virtualine 9 extending in the diametrical direction of the fly-wheel 2 on such an engine. Consequently, inside air temperature is lowered by forming a longitudinal clearance 10 along the inside of the noise insulating projected strap 6 and ventilating inside air of this longitudinal clearance 10 in accordance with rotation of the fly-wheel 2.
