Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of smoothly performing output processing when processing requests are concentrated from clients connected to a network. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by having a RAM 101 as the work memory of a CPU 106, a program ROM 103 storing a control program, an engine I/F 104 for performing the communication of print data, a network I/F 105 for exchanging data with clients through the network and a mass storage device 109 for storing user information or print data or the like, and when the output request is sent from the client, an ID number contained in the output request is detected. Only when it is detected the detected ID number is stored in the mass storage device, printing is performed by an engine so that the use convenience for a registered user can be improved.
