Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device constituted to be compact and capable of excellently picking up an image by reducing the influence of illuminating reflected light by spectacles. SOLUTION: This device is provided with plural illumination means 4 and 5, an image pickup means 3 picking up the image of a subject illuminated by the means 4 and 5, and image pickup control means 8, 9 and 10 controlling the means 4 and 5 to successively emit light so that the means 3 may pick up the image of the subject and selecting and outputting image information where the influence of the illuminating reflected light from the subject is the least out of the image information obtained by such image pickup.
