Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having an improved green strength and storage stability at the time of hardening, and useful as a sealant, etc., by including a polymer having a specific alkoxysilyl chain terminal, etc., in a specified proportion. SOLUTION: This alkoxy functional composition comprises (A) a polymer having >=1.2 alkoxysilyl chain terminals of the formula SiR x (OR)3-x [R is methyl or the like; R is methyl or the like; (x) is 0 or l] in average per molecule, (B) a tetraalkoxytitanium compound containing >=90 mol.% alkoxy group in average as t-amyloxy group, (C) a filler having hydroxy group covalently bonding thereto and/or derived from adsorbed water, and (D) an alkoxysilane of the formula R z Si(OR )4-z [R is methyl or the like; R is methyl or the like; (z) is 1 or 2] in the proportion regulated so that the molar ratio of the hydroxy groups of the components (B+D)/the component C may be >=0.9 and the molar ratio of the alkoxysilyl terminals of the component B/the components (D+A) may be >=0.6. |
