Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling device the roll changing work of which is simplified, with which the working time is shortened and surplus space for providing a spare stand for changing rolls is not necessitated in a roll shop and whose chocks have longer life as compared with that of the rolls and repeatedly used. SOLUTION: A roll housing 10R on the drive side and roll housing 10L on the operation side are composed so as to be separable in the axial directions of upper and lower horizontal rolls 2, 3 and also the rotary shafts on the drive side and chocks on the drive side of the rotary shafts 2A, 3A of the upper and lower horizontal rolls 2, 3 and upper and lower roll chocks 4, 5 for respectively freely rotatably supporting them are respectively composed so as to be freely inserted and drawn out and the rotary shafts on the operation side and chocks on the operation side so as to be freely engageably and disengageably through an engaging and disengaging mechanism. The upper and lower chocks 4, 5 on both sides are respectively mounted to the roll housing 10R on the drive side and roll housing 10L on the operation side and a roll set 9 in which the upper and lower horizontal rolls 2, 3 are integrated through a rolling guide device 6 and roll housing 10L on the operation side are respectively independently movable in the separating direction from the roll housing 10R on the drive side.
