Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a time for taking a car to all the floors by dividing a plurality of cars into a plurality of groups, letting some group serve from a start floor in the UP direction, and letting the other group operate in the DOWN direction, after letting it once serve to a destination registered floor nearest to the uppermost floor. SOLUTION: When operational function for uniformizing a time for taking a car is effective in an office going time belt, a plurality of elevators are divided into two groups A, B. As for the elevators in the group A, they are let serve from start floors in the UP direction, and as for the elevators in the group B, they are let serve in the DOWN direction after once serving to destination registered floors nearest to the uppermost floor. In such operation, when a destination register button in a car is pushed in the case of the car being in stand-by at a start floor, in the case of the group A, it selects a destination registered floor nearest to the lowermost floor, and in the case of the group B, it selects a destination registered floor nearest to the uppermost floor.
