Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an article or part of a desired color having the appearance of coating material texture by coloring an elastomer denatured polyolefin material having a specified clouding level with a pigment having a specific effect. SOLUTION: At least one pigment having a specific effect is uniformly dispersed to a thermoplastic elastomer denatured polyolefin resin having low clouding degree, and thermally molded into a base material. The 'clouding degree' referred therein means the clouding degree of at least 50% or less for 60 mill black in measurement by ASTM D1003. The clouding degree is preferably 30% or less. As the pigment, an inorganic pigment or an organic pigment can be used. A specific pigment containing a flake pigment is used alone or in combination with a colored pigment in order to provide a specific effect as metallic appearance. This material can be molded into an automobile body member as a coating material or molding of body side surface or a bumper plate. |
