Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily set the start time of ON/OFF of power control without controlling a display within a prescribed time after the presence or absence of an operator is detected. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a sensor 2 detecting the presence of the operator at the front of a display part 1 and a control means 3 interrupting the power of the display part when the operator does not exist, and conducting the power of the display part when the operator exists. The control means 3 is provided with an interruption/conduction circuit 5 interrupting/conducting the power of the display part 1 and an interruption/conduction control circuit 4 outputting the signal to the interruption/conduction circuit 5 so that the power of the display part 1 is controlled. The interruption/ conduction control circuit 4 is provided with a comparison part 4 comparing the continuing time of the input signal from the sensor with reference time which is previously set and outputting the signal to the interruption/conduction circuit 5 when it exceeds reference time and a reference time setting circuit 6 which arbitrarily sets reference time.
