Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely small portable telephone that corresponds to the dimension of an ear and a mouth of any person by accommodating and installing an antenna that is united with a micropone on the bottom of a portable telephone body and providing a mechanism which pulls out, extends and further bends the antenna. SOLUTION: This telephone consists o a portable telephone body 11, an antenna 12 that is pulled out of the body, a receiver 13 from which voice is heard, a display panel 14, push button switches 15 and a microphone 15 which is united with the antenna 12. In such a case, the antenna 12 that is united with the microphone 16 is accommodated and attached to the bottom of the body 11, the antenna 12 is extended out at the time of speech communication and speech is performed through the united microphone 16. Because the microphone 16 that is united with the antenna 12 can be extended and contracted in this way, it can be adjusted to the dimension of an ear and a mouth of any person. Then, it is possible to easily miniaturize the portable telephone.
