Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a device at a stop position with the command of zero volt of speed command voltage in an analog servo by ignoring a speed command with a position holding signal, providing a position loop in the servo amplifier and controlling stop with the position loop. SOLUTION: A servo controller 1 receives the speed command with a voltage command transmitted from an NC device 2, controls speed and executes position control for stopping the device at the prescribed position with the position loop formed by the positron holding signal 22. Speed control by the speed command and position control by the position loop are changed over by the control mode switch means 11 of the servo controller 1. Speed control by the speed command is to input the voltage command 21 from the NC device 2 through a control mode switch means 11, to form driving current corresponding to the voltage command 1 by the mechanism of a regular servo amplifier and to supply it to the servo motor 3. The speed command is ignored and the position loop stops the device in the prescribed position so as to hold it in the position.
