Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide circular arc plotting method and device capable of preventing the generation of an incomplete void at the time of executing conversion by a device for converting vector data expressing a circular arc or the like into raster data by using straight approximation based on the recursive division of a Bezier curve. SOLUTION: In the case of approximating inputted circular arc vector data by a straight line based on the recursive division of a Bezier curve, the inputted circular arc vector data are analyzed by a vector data analysis part 51. Then a vector data division part 52 divides the inputted vector data into plural circular arc vector data in each prescribed angle based on the analytical result and a curve approximation part 53 approximates each divided circular arc vector data with a straight line based on the Bezier curve recursive division.
