Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling the tracking of an antenna mounted on a traveling object which can control the azimuth angle of the antenna with high accuracy when the traveling object suddenly turns. SOLUTION: An angular velocity sensor 54 detects the angular velocity which is generated when a traveling object turns. A reception level detector 51 detects the reception of the signal received by means of an antenna 10. A control section 53 decides the rotating speed and rotational angle of the antenna 10 based on the angular velocity when the angular velocity detected by means of the sensor 54 exceeds a prescribed reference value or the correcting amounts of the rotating speed and rotational angle of the antenna 10 so that the reception level may become higher than the reference level based on the reception level and reference level when the reception level detected by means of the detector 51 is lower than the reference level. The control section 53 then controls the rotation of the antenna 10 in the azimuth angle direction based on the rotating speed and rotational angle of the antenna 10 and the correcting amounts of the speed and angle.
