Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for developing an electrostatic charge image which shows excellent electrification, by which a high-quality image is stably obtained and which is suitable as color toner. SOLUTION: In this toner for developing an electrostatic charge image having toner particles including binding resin and colorant and inorganic powder; the toner incorporates the mixture of the chain condensation product of phenol compound and aldehyde compound with the annular condensation product of phenol compound and aldehyde compound, and a component whose unit number is 4 to 6 is incorporated in the mixture by 10 to 80 mole%.
