Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release the screen save state by a method hardly imitated by another person by releasing the screen protective state via a security check using electronic signature collation. SOLUTION: A security check using electronic signature collation is made, and the screen save state is released after a subject person is confirmed. An electronic signature is used in place of a password. Multiple electronic signatures are made for generating the registered signature data as a release key, the signature are received as time-series signature data including writing pressure information, the personal specific feature required for personal authentication is extracted to generate registered signature data, and the signature data are registered in a master file. In this electronic signature system, an input apparatus such as an electronic pen or an electronic tablet must be provided. Since the screen save state is released by the electronic signature collation system, another person is difficult to imitate the signature by surreptitiously looking at it.
