Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of realizing highly stable and low-pollution mist development in which the stable supply of mist is made compatible with the prevention of the outflow of the mist to the outside of a developing device and obtaining a high-definition and high-quality image. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrostatic latent image carrier 1 is made a visible image by the developing device 4 using liquid ink 43. The device 4 is provided with a mist producing part A atomizing the ink 43 to fine mist, a mist feeding part B feeding the atomized ink to a developing part C opposed to the electrostatic latent image, and a mist recovering part D restoring the atomized ink which is not used for development in the developing part C to the producing part A from the developing part C. The feeding direction of the atomized ink in the developing part C is a direction opposite to the moving direction of the carrier 1.
