Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize information of photographing mode and the like by displaying a character string expressing contents in accordance with switching operation. SOLUTION: A card 60 covers the front surface of a lens barrel in the case of being attached to the front surface 12 of a main body 10, so that it becomes a lens cover. The card 60 becomes an operating means for the camera 1 in the case of being attached to a back surface 13, and also functions as a displaying means displaying photographing information of date, the photographing mode and the like. An LCD 71 is provided on the nearly central part of the back surface 70 of the card 60. The LCD 71 displays the photographing information related to the camera 1 such as time, the date, the photographing mode, the number of printing, title and the like. A mark display area and a dot display area are provided on the LCD 71. A date switch 72, a title selecting switch 73, a printing number setting switch 74, a mode switch 75, a clear switch 76, and a remote switch 77 are arranged around the LCD 71.
