Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a modified polyester having high uniformity and dispersedness and not undergoing long-term nonuniform dispersion to permit direct film formation, direct spinning or the like in adding a modifier-containing polyester useful for use in a fiber, films and other moldings to a continuous polymerization line of a base polymer. SOLUTION: In adding a modifier-containing polyester to a base polymer line 3 of a base polyester obtained by continuous polymerization, part of the polymer is withdrawn from the discharge side of a static mixing line 5 inserted in the line 3 and recirculated into the polymer feed side of the line 15. |
