Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealability to enable long-term storage and long-distance transportation and also to facilitate packaging operation by tightly overlapping a self-adhesive film roll along an external face of an object. SOLUTION: Additive is added to a film of polyethylene or the like to lower a glass transition temperature, and film stretchability is adjusted to form a self adhesive film 8. In order to suppress gaps due to wrinkles while keeping strength, the self adhesive film 8 is fed out of a material roll comprising the film rolled with a thickness of approximately 10 to 30 μm and wound around an object 6 to be packaged. At this time, a guide roller 9 is used to prevent the wrinkles from occurring. In addition, if the object 6 has a core, the self adhesive film 8 wound around the core is pressed from above by a pressing tool, thereby improving adhesion between the core and the self adhesive film 8 for improving sealability and also preventing gaps from occurring due to vibration during transportation.
