Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track controlling apparatus and method for an antenna aboard a movable body capable of reliably controlling an antenna azimuth even if a reception level is varied due to change in a mobile environment. SOLUTION: In an offset adjusting part 51, a reception level has an offset value so that a sky level of an obtained reception level while an antenna 10 is rotated in an azimuth direction matches a given reference level. An A/D converter 52 converts an adjusted reception level by the offset adjusting part 51 into a digital signal, and sends it to a control pat 53. Anywhere in Japan and any whether, the A/D converter 52 is designed so that a difference between the maximum peak level of the reception level and the sky level is within the control level range of the detachable reception of the A/D converter 52. The control part 53 controls an azimuth of the antenna 10 based upon the adjusted reception level by the offset adjusting part 51.
