PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microcapsules capable of imparting a fiber excellent anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect by simply being adhered to the fiber, and to obtain a fiber attaching the microcapsules capable of improving dropsy and myalgia by being simply put on. SOLUTION: This microcapsule contains, as core material, a hydrophobic physiologically active material having anti-inflammatory and/or analgesic effect. The microcapsule-attached fiber is obtained by making the above microcapsules adhere to a fiber; therefore, this fiber can be suitably used as a piece of clothing such as an underwear, socks or panty stockings, or as a protective means such as a supporter or bandage, which are to be put on the hands and/or feet or legs especially subject to dropsy and/or myalgia.
