Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a flat foil excellent in the touch and flexibility and also enabled in the incorporation to a silk fabric by passing a material to be treated through the nip between an embossed roll wherein at least two kinds of surface embossed patterns different in height are mixed and the roll being in contact with the embossed roll under specific nip pressure and heating. SOLUTION: Materials P1, P2 to be treated (flat foil materials) are passed through the nip between an embossed roll R1 wherein at least two kinds of surface embossed patterns different in height are mixed and the roll R2 being in contact with the roll R1 under heating and nip pressure of 10-12t. The flat foil materials P2 laminated to two flat foil materials P1 so that Japanese paper or Japanese tissue paper 1 is made inside. Heating temp. is set to 90-110 deg.C or 40-60 deg.C in the flat foil material P1 and set to 40-60 deg.C in the flat foil material. The roll R2 is pref. made of an elastically deformable material, for example, a rubber sheet or Japanese paper. As a result, the materials to be treated are made matte and made excellent in flexibility.
