Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display both a video signal and a synthesized signal on a monitor with excellent identification performance and visuality in the case of synthesizing the synthesized signal such as cursor, graphic or characters whose level is higher than a standard level of the video signal on the video signal and displaying the resulting signal on the monitor. SOLUTION: The monitor use video circuit that is provided with a signal synthesizer 11 that synthesizes a synthesized signal 9 such as a cursor, graphics or characters with a voltage level higher than a specified voltage level of a video signal 10 on the video signal 10, an amplifier 3 that amplifies a voltage level of the synthesis signal 5 outputted from the signal synthesizer 11, and an A/D converter 6 that converts the synthesis signal outputted from the amplifier 3 into a digital signal to display an output of the A/D converter 6 on a monitor, is provided with a limiter circuit 1 which limits the synthesis signal 5 outputted from the signal synthesizer 11 at a level slightly higher than the specified voltage level of the video signal 10 and a synthesis signal 15 whose level is limited by the limiter circuit 1 is given to the amplifier 3.
