Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an opening/closing roof which is openably/ closably provided on the upper section of a structure by providing multiple roof elements, and supporting them with rotary shafts provided at different positions of the structure. SOLUTION: This opening/closing roof 21 is formed with a first roof element 24 and a second roof element 25 provided to cover the upper section of a baseball ground 22 and tracks 26, 27 supporting the roof elements 24, 25. The first and second roof elements 24, 25 are formed into a fan shape, and outer edge sections 24a, 25a forming the circular arc portions of fan shapes are supported by the first and second tracks 26, 27. Base end sections 24b, 25b located at the centers of the circular arcs of the outer edge sections 24a, 25a of the roof elements 24, 25 are supported by first and second rotary shafts 30, 31, and the first and second roof elements 24, 25 are turned along the tracks 26, 27. The whole roof is formed to be completely opened, and the cost can be reduced.
