Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the excavating efficiency by coaxially fitting loose a plurality of cutting elements having respective drive motors, and rotating the adjacent cutting elements to mutually reverse directions. SOLUTION: A plurality of tubular power transmission shafts 13 are fitted loose at the outside of a central power transmission shaft 12, and cutting elements 31 are firmly fixed at the front end of respective power transmission shaft 13. Ring-form gears 24 are firmly fixed to the rear end of respective power transmission shafts 13. Drive motors 22 fitted to drive gears 23 and a motor set 21 are connected to the gears 24. And further, the motor set 21 is fitted loose at the outside of the whole power transmission device and the pivot 42 of the set 21 and the pivot set 43 are connected to a machine arm to form the cutting head. When driving it, respective elements 31 are driven by the drive motors 22 through the gears 23, 24 and adjacent elements are driven in mutually reverse directions to excavate soil. In this way, the excavating efficiency is increased. |
