Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner with high usability by providing a superior main body storage means for an auxiliary suction tool. SOLUTION: This cleaner is so constituted that a storage recess part 20 whose longitudinal direction is approximately parallel of the floor surface and which stores an auxiliary suction tool is provided in the bottom of the rear external hull of the main body having a drive chamber 5 incorporating a dust collecting chamber in its front part of the main body and an electric blower 4 in its rear part, and a holding part which prevents the falling out of the auxiliary suction tool is formed in the bottom face entrance of the storage recess part 20. This constitution can prevents the falling out of the auxiliary suction tool, which is inserted into the storage recess part 20, caused by the vibration and impact during using the cleaner.
