SOLUTION: This service management equipment 20 that conducts management or the like of a state of a service controller to perform a service to a request from an exchange is provided with a request item number read section 25-2 that reads the number of service requests from the exchange that is stored in the service controller, a database read section 25-3 that reads the contents of a database for service operation provided in the service controller, a collation section 25-4 that collates the read contents with the contents in a corresponding area in the subscriber database, and a read control section 25-2 that controls the reading of contents of the database based on request item number information read by the request item read section 25-2.
