Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of displayed information and to display desired information with a small number of switch operations by making date information having a date in desired display order arbitrarily selectable. SOLUTION: An LCD driving part 138 controls the display of an LCD 71 by an instruction by a CPU 131. When a date switch is depressed, the CPU 131 detects the ON operation, to decide whether elapsed time is >= two seconds or not. When the date switch is depressed before a lapse of two seconds, display change processing for the LCD 71 is executed. In other words, a signal is emitted from the CPU 131 to the LCD driving part 138, to change the display. A display state is changed by the display changing processing for the LCD 71 and this processing is repeated to successively change the display. Therefore, the display of the LCD 71 including the date can be arbitrarily selected by the taste of a camera user. An automatic setting function for such a date display is provided to eliminate a date display selecting operation and facilitate handling. |
