Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment method capable of stabilizing harmful heavy metals contained in waste such as industrial waste incineration ash, urban waste refuse incineration ash, slag, soil, sludge or shredder dust. SOLUTION: When urban waste refuse incineration ash such as incineration fly ash, main ash or molten fly ash containing a harmful substance such as lead, cadmium, mercury or arsenic, industrial waste incineration ash or waste containing harmful heavy metals such as activated ash is treated with a waste treatment material based on water glass, liquid calcium hydroxide with solid content of 25wt.% or less such as carbide milk is combined with a treatment material containing water glass and potassium carbonate at a solid ratio of 95:5-80:20 to perform treatment.
