Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repair a damaged skirting board between an elevator floor and a side plate without removing it by fixedly bonding decorative plate formed into the surface shape of the skirting board to the skirting board by a double- sided adhesive tape such that it covers the surface of the skirting board when the surface of the skirting board is damaged. SOLUTION: A skirting board 4 is provided between a side plate 3 vertically fixed around an elevator floor and the elevator floor. When the skirting board 4 is damaged and needs to be repaired, a stainless steel decorative plate 8 formed into the surface shape of the skirting board 4 is fixedly bonded to the skirting board 4 via a double-sided adhesive tape 9 previously stuck to the skirting board 4 such that it covers the surface thereof, whereby the skirting board 4 can be repaired without being removed with considerably little labor within a short time. |
