Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water type heating device capable of obtaining accurately the amount of heat radiation (required heat value) to be radiated with an indoor heat exchanger which responds to the difference between setting room temperature and detected room temperature irrespective of installation conditions. SOLUTION: A hot water type heating device provided with a control device 400 which determines the number of heating stages where the number of revolution of a convective fan 200, the amount of heat radiation of a heat exchanger and a target value are set to eight stages, based on the difference between a setting temperature set with a remote controller 4 and detected room temperature detected with a room temperature thermistor 405. In a single heating operation which heats an indoor only with indoor equipment 2, the differential temperature between the hot air temperature detected with a room temperature thermistor 407 and the detected room temperature is determined with a differential temperature detection means while the control device 400 controls the input of a gas burner 100 so that the differential temperature may be maintained to keep each target value determined responding to the predetermined eight stages.
