Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve water-proof as well as durability for use in high temperature and high speed rotation by filling grease containing a urea compound as thickening agent in a bearing for a water pump. SOLUTION: Grease filled in a bearing 7 for a water pump with roller rows 5 and ball rows 6 contains a urea compound as thickening agent. The urea compound such as diurea, triurea, tetraurea compound or polyurea compound having more urea groups in basic skeletons is used, in which preferably the diurea or tetraurea compound and more preferably the diurea compound are used. As the diurea compound, an aliphatic or alicyclic diurea compound is preferably used and the one that cyclohexyl groups and stearic groups are mixed together in both end groups of diurea compound is suitable. The rate of such diurea compound to the total amount of the grease is set to be 7-35wt.%.
